SNAKE RIVER CHAPTER
CHARTER DOIN'S
TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED
Due to scheduling conflicts and personal issues of so many important people, the Chartering of the Snake River Chapter has been postponed until September 9-11, 2011. The proposed site being negotiated for the event is the Given's Hot Springs. Located in South Western Idaho on the famous South Alternate Route of the Oregon Trail, the location is just a few short miles from the Idaho-Oregon border. The site is easy to find as it is just off of US 95. The site features huge shade trees, camping on grassy lawns,swimming, history, petroglyphs, easy access to the Snake River, a plaque dedication, and tours to nearby historical sites. Mark your calendars now and plan to come early and stay late for a rip-roaring time at a site frequented by man for over 6,000 years.
Watch the site in early October for more information on what may be
the last-ever chartering of new chapter in a new state until the next one.

| It is my honor and privilege to announce to all of my brethren that the Sublime Noble Grand Humbug,
Tom Crawford chose 5/15/6015 to elevate the Snake River Outpost #1811 to Chapter status.It is an honor and a privilege to be able to share that event with our brothers from Umpqua Joe #1859
in Oregon who were raised to chapter status as well.At the big event on Saturday the Sublime asked representatives from both Outposts’ to approach the stage. After we approached the stage, the Sublime announced “Gentlemen, you are no longer an Outpost's”. The cheers were deafening as the brothers gave us a standing ovation for our hard work. It was fantastic.This new chapter is so grateful for the support from our sponsoring Chapter Lucinda Jane Saunders #1881 and XSNGH Sonny Marshall for his leadership and guidance.We are most grateful for all of the support of all of our brothers from Washington to San Diego and from the West Coast to Colorado. There are literally dozens and dozens of brothers that have supported us and our functions.
Thank you all very much.The Snake River’s directors, officers and general membership put me in this position and made it all happen because of their hard work, dedication and support. It is them that deserve this success and them that I am committed to. Thank you my brothers.To my fellow Brothers through out Clamperdom, rest assured we are planning a Chartering Doin's that will be an event you will not want to miss.
 Thanks Again For Your Continued Support

Snake River Chapter #1811 |
The Clampers Creed
As I pass through life, may I always be humble; may I never take myself seriously;
may I always appreciate a little of the ridiculous; may I always be a two-fisted Clamper
when the bottle passes my way and if I imbibe, and can't hold it like a man,
then may I always be able to pass it to the next brother; may I never forget the stout-hearted
men who settled a great western wilderness and the heritage we have today.
May I never fail to appreciate a bit of western lore.
